Who Are TWINTOP?

TWINTOP is a global manufacturer of high-performance injection moulding machines with more than 40 years of experience in the plastics machinery industry.

 

Established in 2006 in Wuxi, China. TWINTOP Intelligent Machinery builds on Taiwanese expertise to deliver reliable, efficient, and precise solutions to manufacturers worldwide. 

History of TWINTOP

The company's founder has been active in the injection moulding industry since the 1970s, bringing decades of technical knowledge and innovation to machine design. In 2006, TWINTOP set up operations in Wuxi, focusing on high-quality injection moulding machinery. To expand into new markets, a second facility was established in Ningbo in 2021, strengthening production capacity and development. 
 
Today, TWINTOP produces a wide range of injection moulding machines, with clamping forces from 650 to 4,000 tons in their two-platen series. With more than 300 production personnel, an annual output exceeding 800 machines, and a presence in over 80 countries and regions, TWINTOP has become a trusted partner for global manufacturers.

Space Efficiency​​​​

Two-platen machines have a shorter overall footprint compared to toggle designs, freeing up valuable factory floor space. This makes them ideal when installing large-tonnage equipment in limited production areas. 

Wider Mould Capacity 

Two-laten systems allow a much larger platen opening for the same stroke length, making it easier to accommodate large or deep moulds (e.g. automotive bumpers, industrial bins, appliance housings)

Excellent Platen Parallelism 

Hydraulic locking applies clamping force evenly across the platen surface, maintaining precise parallelism. This reduces flash, improves part quality, and prolongs mould life. 

High Tonnage Capability 

Unlike toggle systems that are limited in very large sizes, two -platen machines handle heavy-duty clamping forces from 650 tons up to 4,000+tons, making them ideal for demanding applications.

Flexible Mould Mounting 

With fewer mechanical linkages and a larger tie-bar spacing, mould installation and changeovers are quicker and safer, reducing downtime in production. 

Reduced Wear & Maintenance 

The simpler hydraulic clamping mechanism reduces mechanical stress and wear compared to toggle linkages, resulting in lower long-term maintenance costs.

Energy-Efficient Hydraulic Control 

Modern two-platen designs like TWINTOP's use servo-hydraulic or hybrid systems, which optimise oil usage and energy consumption even at high tonnages. 

Precision Repeatability 

Positioning accuracy within 0.01mm ensures stable and repeatable part production, critical for industries such as automotive, appliances, and technical mouldings. ​​​

Four clamping cylinders with average output to reduce product shrinkage and deformation. 

Large space between tie bar & long distance of opening stroke, which is especially good for products with big or deep size. 

Sliding foot design, stable action, and easy maintenance and adjustment. 

Injection Unit

The high rigid linear guideway realizes its function of lower resistance and ensures the injection unit stable and durable.

The injection unit is stable and accurate by applying double cylinders. 

Proportional valve controls the back pressure for highly precise production.
