ULTRAPLAST is a specially developed cleaning compound that is delivered in a premixed and ready-to- use pellet form. It is specifically designed for the cleaning of endless screws, barrels, nozzles, hot runners and extrusion heads to remove burnt material (colour) rests, deposits, incrustations and black specks during colour and/or material change of all thermoplastics such as: PVC, EVA, POM, HDPE, LDPE, PP, Polyolefin resin, TPU.

6 Production Plants | Supplied in 4 Continents | More than 20 Products

The Range:

  • The standard ULTRA PLAST range - well known for its performance on colour and material change.

  • The range -S and -CS with QUALIPURGE SWISS TECHNOLOGY - these new formulas guarantee faster and more effective colour and material change, even on the new polymers and pigments.

  • The SP and SP Plus, with combined chemical and mechanical action, for the most difficult purging issues. These products work on a wide range of polymers and temperatures.

  • ULTRA PLAST LP, a liquid purging compound, which gives you one of the best results compared to the liquid products existing on the market.

The Technology:

  • 100% Chemical Action - ULTRAPLAST does not contain any abrasive component. This allows a gentle, yet strong, cleaning of all metallic parts, including hot-runners, without any damage such as micro-scratches.

  • New Formula with Expanding Agents – Improved efficiency even in hard-to-clean areas. Colours, incrustations, black specks and rust are softened and removed.

  • Easy to use – It cleans at the processing temperature of the previous production materials and does not require soaking time.

  • Used in Machine Shut-Down – Some grades of ULTRAPLAST can be left inside the barrel during shutdown time of the machine.

  • 100% Biodegradable – The active part is 100% biodegradable and safe for the environment.
