SWAN NECK CONVEYOR

Swan Neck Conveyor - Custom Build in the UK

A swan conveyor gives you a clean, compact way to move products from a low infeed up to a higher discharge point in one smooth movement. The stepped design - horizontal, incline, then horizontal again - keeps products stable as they travel, making it ideal for feeding hoppers, bagging machines, inspection areas or any process that sits higher than the production line. Each conveyor is built to the length, width and angle you need, so it drops neatly into your layout without taking up unnecessary space.

To give the conveyor high strength with low friction, the side walls are made from HMWPE (PE500). This keeps wear low and helps incline movement without dragging or lifting. We can use modular belts, PU belts or grip-top options depending on your product, and flights can be added if you're lifting loose or unstable items. The design makes belt cleaning and removal straightforward and the conveyor can be build as a fixed unit or on castors if you need flexibility around the line.

Swan neck conveyors are widely used where a standard incline conveyor won't fit, or where a controlled lift is needed in a tight footprint. The movement is steady and reliable and the transition between sections keeps your product stable throughout the climb. It's a simple, practical way to connect lower-level machinery with equipment at heigh without the need for manual handling or multiple conveyors.
